This has been a fun experience and look forward to future updates. Played with the filters but nothing changed that. The titles appear alphabetized in groups. Library doesn’t list all the music titles in alphabetical order. Both Audirvana Windows 10 and JRiver play music just fine. After being puzzled for awhile, it dawned on me that MSI includes an audio enhancement program for gaming called Nahimic. This computer is an MSI gaming laptop that is not used for gaming but for music play back because it has an excellent processor coolingģ. Like the Mac version, the Windows variant (available in both a desktop and mobile app versions) will be able to support playback of FLAC, WAV and AIFF hi-res files, as well those packaged in MQA and DSD. Laptop 2: Did all of the above but still no sound from AudirvanaĢ. Audirvana has announced that from next month its Audirvana Plus player will also be available on PCs running Windows 10. Yes, exclusive access was checked in the computers audio driver Reinstalled JRiver and both programs now play music just fineĦ. Started Windows 10 Beta and Audirvana played music.ĥ. Install of Windows Beta and synchronizing the audio files went fine.ĭamien, here is the workaround for my two laptops in order to get Audirvana to play tunes. I am currently using Audirvana latest version on a MAC so am somewhat familiar with the software. For more infórmation, including a Iink to the frée software download, cIick here. Those that wish to purchase should expect to pay 74.00. Audrivana is currentIy offering Windows 10 users a free 15-day trial version of the software. When using Jriver sound is output to either the headphone out or internal speakers using the Realtek High Definition driver. The Windows 10 version of Audirvana Plus offers several advances over the Macs current 3.2 version. On the playback bar below the volume slider it says “Device not connected”.With Audirvana Windows 10 there is no sound at all. It only provides highly distorted static sound. When selecting audio playback icon on playback bar I am presented only with “WASPI and Realtek High Definition Audio” This combination does not work with Jriver Media Center either. When pressing play button on playback bar a message on the left side says “unable to open audio device-already used by another app?”.When selecting an album for playback the left panel shows “Connected” but there is no timing playback progress bar (future feature?) thus I think data is being processed but not sure. The music files are stored on an external hard drive. I am accessing my music files on an MSI laptop model GL72 6QD through the headphone out.I totally understand this early software copy is in Beta so some features may not be enabled at this point.
